    We Exist to… Worship
Worship is a priority for FUMC but we have to ask ourselves "What do we worship?" and "Do we only worship on Sundays?". To move forward with Christ we have to become more intimate with God through our worship.

    Check Your Relationships
What does it mean to be a part of First united Methodist Church? Do we just come to one of the Sunday morning services and go home? Or is there more to being a part of the church? In this message Pastor Steve addresses how we need to relate to one another as we are all called to one table.

What You Do Speaks So Loudly

This message deals with the principle of  RELATIONSHIP…with each other, and with God.  Paul instructs us  that as members of the community of faith, we need to be Truthful,  be Reconcilers,  be Industrious,  be Encouraging,  be Faithful, be  Kind,  and be Imitators of God.  In other words, love others as God loves us.

    The Fellowship of the Mat

God wants us to be in  close, loving fellowship with Him and with one another. We need to make good decisions in Choosing Community. We need to realize that everyone comes with a “mat”  (brokenness and imperfection).  We need to help and care for not only each other, but all who are in need.  Community  gets built by SERVANTS.

    Deeper Into Discipleship

We live in a day of “casual Christianity”  (we want the crown without the cross).  But God wants and needs us to be faithful disciples.  This message looks at the true cost of discipleship.  A discipleship is willing the follow  God’s plan.  A disciple is willing the  pay the cost  (Take up the cross).  A disciple knows that life without Jesus is  meaningless.

    The Really Good Samaritan

Today we will seek to find our place in this parable of the Good Samaritan.  Which character do we identify with?  Finding our place in the story hopefully help us hear and understand as Christians and as a church  God’s call for caring for and serving others.
