The Message of our Windows

Dreams are where great things begin. The dream is the seed that is painted in a mind and when cultivated can grow and bloom into wonderful accomplishments. The beautiful stained-glass windows are just such a dream.

As we look around our sanctuary and bask in the beauty of the sunlight streaming through the brilliant colors of the windows accentuating the historic Christian symbols, this dream-come-true enhances not only the appearance of the sanctuary, but encourages us in praising and worshipping God.

These exquisite windows are dedicated to the glory of God and to all the saints who were and are faithfully committed to Somerset First, and to all those who so lovingly expressed their devotion by the giving of these windows.

In viewing the windows, you will find the symbols are listed in order of window placement, the first symbol being the first window from the front of sanctuary to the rear of the church.

May these Christian symbols portrayed in the windows continually remind us of God’s greatest gift to all, Jesus Christ.
